Career so far

- Coming through the Rhinos Scholarship during the Covid pandemic, Gannon's talent was never in doubt as he was handed the opportunity to train with the first team under Richard Agar during the 2020 season.

- Combining his education with training with the club, he was officially elevated into the first team squad for the 2021 season and enjoyed a superb start to his Rhinos career. Debuting off the bench in the Challenge Cup against St Helens before making his Super League bow a week later against Wigan, the 17-year old made 13 appearances in total that season including five starts in the second row. He added one senior try on the road against Castleford that campaign, as he contributed to a 60-6 triumph over the Tigers at the Jungle.

- 2022 was another pivotal year as Gannon began to mould himself into the Leeds lineup. Capping the campaign with a nomination for Super League's Young Player of the Year award, he played 25 games and scoring six times, including a second-half double in an away win over Hull KR at Sewell Group Craven Park.

- A tough 2023 season saw Gannon ruled out of the majority of the season. He made eleven first-team appearances and one for the Reserves too. Due to the number of lay offs due to concussions in his early career and, after being sidelined at the start of the 2024 due to a knock suffered in a pre-season against Hull KR, the decision was made that Gannon would miss the entire 2024 season to recover and prepare to go again in 2025.

- Back at his best under Brad Arthur, the Siddal junior was back amongst the club's top performers as he combined with James McDonnell to be a brutal set of back rowers for the Rhinos. Opening the season with two tries against Wests Warriors in the Challenge Cup, he truly put his injury fears behind him with 24 appearances and five tries in games against Salford, Saints, Warrington, Hull and Huddersfield but couldn't help Leeds beyond the first round of the play offs as Saints ended Leeds and Gannon's seasons prematurely.

- With the 2025 season complete, Gannon made the move down under as he joined up with former coach Agar and Andrew Webster as part of New Zealand Warriors' new-look squad for the 2026 season. Featuring in both Pre-Season Challenge matches against Manly and the Dolphins - the former as a starter - he made his senior NRL debut against Newcastle in the back row. It was his sole NRL game to date after suffering a concussion in the match.

- With the Warriors Reserves, he has played five games so far and recorded tries against Canberra, Newtown and Melbourne.
