A first trip to France in 2026 awaits Leeds Rhinos on Friday as Brad Arthur's side clash with Toulouse Olympique at the Stade Ernest Wallon in round 14 of the Betfred Super League, kick off 7pm.

On his return to the Super League competition, full back Ashall-Bott has flourished with the quick ruck speeds and leading Olympique's attack.

The former Wakefield, Widnes and Huddersfield player is in his fifth season with Toulouse and is part of the furniture in Sylvain Houles' side having been part of the Olympique outfit that played in the club's last Super League season in 2022. He was the club's top try scorer (23 tries) as the side earned promotion out of the Championship, and his form has continued into this year as he is level with Mathieu Jussaume with eight tries this campaign, plus he also has five assists and three try involvements to be at the heart of Toulouse's points scoring.

The attacking prowess doesn't stop there as the 28-year-old has the most tackle breaks by a player in the competition this year (97), leads his club for metres, carries and offloads, and has four tries in his last three outings. He was also full back for Toulouse's sole win against Leeds back in 2022.

Cesar Rouge

Changing Perpignan for Toulouse during the off-season, half back Cesar Rouge has also been one of the main components to Toulouse's attack and continues to show plenty of potential at only 23-years old.

After four years and 49 games for Catalans, the French international is one of the most experienced Super League players in Olympique's camp but has struggled to find a consistent halves partner as Thomas Lacans, Jake Shorrocks and Anthony Marion have slotted in alongside Rouge in the last seven games. Regardless, he leads the side in try assists (11) and follows behind Ashall-Bott in overall try involvements, whilst his kicking game ranks as one of the best in the league (6th in total kicks, 7th in kick metres, 4th in 40/20 kicks, 9th in forced drop outs.

Brendan Hands

Familiar to Rhinos head coach Brad Arthur, Toulouse hooker Brendan Hands comes up against his former Parramatta Eels coach on Friday night as he enjoys a top season as Olympique's number nine.

Breaking through under Arthur during the 2023 NRL season after playing in the state competitions for Penrith and the Eels, Hands featured 40 times and scored two tries in three years with the club but fell out of favour as Ryley Smith, Joey Lussick and Tallyn Da Silva were all preferred during the 2025 campaign. Signing for Olympique midway through the 2025 Championship season, he played all eight games down the final stretch of the year - scoring two tries - and was the starting option for both the semi final and Grand Final wins over Bradford and York.

In 2026, no hooker has played more minutes than Hands, who prides himself on his defensive effort with 556 total tackles - the most made by a player in the entire Super League competition in 2026.
