Four Rhinos set to feature for Hunslet on loan
Four members of the Leeds Rhinos squad will go out on loan this weekend as they gain valuable experience and game minutes as part of Kyle Trout's Hunslet side in the Betfred Championship.
Tom Nicholson-Watton, Ned McCormack and Ben Littlewood join the club for the weekend as they take on Newcastle Thunder at the South Leeds Stadium on Sunday, kick off 3pm. Nicholson-Watton has featured twice for Hunslet already this year in games against Widnes Vikings and Barrow Raiders, whilst Littlewood was a try scorer in the defeat to the Vikings at the start of March. McCormack, who was a try scorer at the weekend for the Reserves in a convincing 84-6 win over Bradford, has one loan appearance in 2026 for Huddersfield.
Prop Joe Butterfield also joins Hunslet but on a month's loan deal. The 19-year-old has two appearances for Chev Walker's Reserves this year and gets the opportunity to get added minutes under Trout's coaching, starting with Sunday's game against Thunder.
