Job Opportunity: Designer

Leeds Rhinos are looking to recruit a Designer to join the Marketing Department to support the creation of high-quality, on-brand design across digital and print.

Job Description

You’ll be encouraged to bring your design perspective to a wide range of creative challenges, bringing campaigns to life across Rugby, Netball, The Headingley Stadium Hotel as well as the Leeds Rhinos Foundation.

You’ll have excellent knowledge of Adobe creative software applications. InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator along with basic motion design or editing in After Effects / Premiere.

You’ll be passionate about brand, design and marketing, with strong layout, typography and visual story telling skills. Along with excellent attention to detail, communication skills and organisational ability.

The role will involve wider marketing support in addition to the key responsibilities listed below. Flexibility with working hours will be required including the occasional evening and weekend work.

Responsibilities:

·       Be the primary point of contact for creative design across all Leeds Rhinos business areas.

·       Creation of design assets across both online and print media, including but not limited to, email, social, paid digital, print, website banners, as well as video.

·       Liaising with the wider business to create an organised, collaborative and consistent approach to the collation of briefs and the creation of marketing materials.

·       Research into emerging trends in design and video ensuring our output is leading the way.

·       Management of our brand guidelines, ensuring guidelines are being always adhered to across all business areas.

·       Deliver monthly reports on creative output and workload.

  • Managing your time across multiple projects, in a fast paced, reactive environment, with regular check-ins to keep the Head of Marketing updated on priorities and progress.

·       Be responsible for file management and asset distribution to relevant contacts across the business.

·       Wider support on Leeds Rhinos marketing activation, particularly across game days and events.

·       Ensuring the club maximise the opportunities across stadium infrastructure, big screen, LED’s and IPTV system (additional training provided).

·       Using performance insights to continuously refine and elevate our output.
