2026 Rhinos Academy, Reserves & Scholarship fixtures confirmed

Fixtures have been confirmed for the Leeds Rhinos Reserves, Academy and Scholarship teams ahead of the start of the 2026 season.

2025 was a stellar season across the club's youth grades as the Rhinos Reserves and Under-18s reached their respective Grand Finals, and the Scholarship only lost once during their campaign. Chev Walker's Reserves side made history by defeating Warrington Wolves 8-0 to win the club's first Reserves Grand Final title since the competition was reintroduced in 2020 - George Brown scoring the only try of the game to ensure Leeds lifted the trophy - whilst the Under-18s completed a strong season with a Grand Final outing, but came up short against the Wolves.

Both competitions are made up of 11 Super League clubs, whilst the reserves competition also includes London Broncos from the Betfred Championship. The reserves kicked off their season last weekend on Saturday 14 February where Hull FC clinched their first win of the season in a 44-22 victory against London Broncos. Their season consists of 11 rounds whilst the ten round Academy competition begins in three weeks on Saturday 7 March.

The scholarship training program also returns for 2026 as teams continue to offer opportunities for the development of local young talent. The scheme involves a structured pathway that allows players to progress to elite academy and is a significant step towards nurturing the next generation of professional rugby league players. The scholarship season gets underway on Wednesday 25 March with the full opening round fixtures detailed below.

Rhinos fans also continue to get more rugby for your money in 2026 as youth fixtures will continue to be double headers with Men's Super League matches. Two Reserves matches against London Broncos (25th April) and Castleford Tigers (22nd May) have been confirmed already, with the hope being that fixtures in the second half of the Reserves and Academy seasons can also be played in front of a Headingley crowd.
