New boy Matautia making himself at home in Leeds

Giant Leeds Rhinos forward Jeremiah Mata'utia revealed a long dog walk on Christmas Day was the perfect preparation for him to make his first appearance for the Rhinos in the Wetherby Whaler Festive Challenge.

Mata'utia and his partner China Polata were invited into the home of former Leeds player Fran Goldthorp for Christmas Day. Polata played with Goldthorp at North Queensland Cowboys and the overseas pair were given a home away from home on Christmas Day by the Goldthorps.

Mata'utia came off the bench in the 18-10 win over Wakefield at AMT Headingley.
