Leeds Rhinos to host West Yorkshire’s first Level Playing Field North Forum
The Level Playing Field North Forum will take place at AMT Headingley on Tuesday 27 January and registration is now open to all.
Disabled sports fans, disabled supporters’ associations, club staff and other key stakeholders will come together for discussions on access and inclusion.
This first event of its kind to be staged in West Yorkshire marks the second stop on the current tour of regional forums, following November’s in Southampton, and will build on the successes of trips to the Etihad Stadium and Deepdale, in recent years.
Feedback received on each of those occasions was overwhelmingly positive and the charity is delighted to be hosted for its first-ever forum at a rugby league stadium, by Betfred Super League club Leeds Rhinos.
AMT Headingley has been home to the Rhinos for more than a century and last month, was the setting for the climax of the Ashes series between England and Australia. The venue adjoins with the cricket ground, where Yorkshire County Cricket Club play and England secured a victory against India in the summer.
Sports fans and industry professionals will therefore all feel welcome, on a day which will be dedicated to fostering inclusion.
