Rhinos Women sign young second rower Lois Naidole from Giants
Leeds Rhinos Women have signed second rower Lois Naidole from Huddersfield Giants for the 2026 season.
The 20 year-old made her senior debut with Huddersfield Giants in 2023 and has been one of the team’s most consistent performers, winning the club’s Woman of Steel award in 2025.
She began playing with Huddersfield St Joes U14s, where she played alongside current Rhinos player Bells Sykes, befor joining the Giants.
Speaking about signing for the Rhinos, Naidole said: “I’m excited and delighted for the opportunity to play for Leeds Rhinos. I had been looking at my future around rugby given my work commitments as a health care assistant but decided when Leeds spoke to me about joining them that it would be a good opportunity for me. I know Leeds are an ambitious side and I am looking forward to the chance to test myself and help the team push on in 2026. I have loved my time at the Giants and am grateful to them for everything.”
Leeds Rhinos Women’s head coach Lois Forsell said: “We are really pleased to strengthen our squad with the signing of Lois. She is a strong and powerful player with a competitive nature. She is young with ambition to keep developing. She comes with plenty of experience of playing regularly with Giants where she has been one of their stand out players.”
