ORGANISATION & JOB TITLE: Soft Tissue Therapist
SALARY: Competitive, 16 hrs per week.
LOCATION: Kirkstall, Leeds and various, North of England
REPORTING TO: Lead Physiotherapist and Head of Performance.
CLOSING DATE: 19th December 2025

Purpose of the job:
The delivery of world-class player care and support in the treatment and management of all soft tissue therapy for Leeds Rhinos players.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience of player treatment and management at a professional level with at least 1 years’ experience in a professional sporting environment.
- Significant practical experience in the provision of muscular skeletal and soft tissue manual therapy techniques.
- Ability to communicate to a high standard in both written and oral formats.
- Computer literate.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience in the delivery of a range of manual muscular skeletal therapy techniques
- Understanding and ability to administer alternative treatments i.e., acupuncture, cupping etc
Principle duties/ activities:
- Carry out all the duties and responsibilities which may reasonably be required to deliver the services to the highest professional standard commensurate with your involvement in elite sport.
- Lead player soft tissue treatment and management of student soft tissue therapists
- Support the management and the delivery of player massage provision attending all first team fixtures.
- Liaise directly with all club physiotherapists and medical staff to ensure the management and treatment of all players in of the highest possible level.
- Assist with the care and ordinance of club medical equipment and stock as required.
- Highlight any player medical concerns for senior staff.
- Be prepared and able to support match day function with the delivery of water, medical equipment and pitch-side care as required.
Other Considerations
- Ability to work irregular and unsocial hours as required.
- Ability to travel, including occasional overnight stays
- Ability to travel abroad with teams as required.
Qualifications Preferable
• A qualification at degree level (or equivalent) in sports therapy.
