Rhinos and Bulls reignite derby for Rivals Round

Rivals Round will return in 2026, with seven blockbuster clashes set to be played over the traditional Easter Weekend (3-5 April).

Falling on Round 7 next year, the action will get underway on Good Friday – and it promises to be an unforgettable one, starting with the highly anticipated Hull Derby staged at Sewell Group Craven Park.

Hull KR will be searching for a seventh straight victory over their inner-city rivals Hull FC in all competitions. Can the Black & Whites finally enact revenge for the Robins’ clean sweep of results against them?

Then, there’s the iconic Good Friday Derby contested between St Helens and Wigan Warriors at The BrewDog Stadium to mark down in your diaries – a storied rivalry steeped in history.

The third and final fixture of a jam-packed afternoon sees Bradford Bulls and Leeds Rhinos renew their famous rivalry under Friday night lights of Bartercard Odsal Stadium – a truly unmissable clash between two former Super League champions.

It’s a fixture many have been waiting for, and one that promises to turn out a classic.

Huddersfield Giants take on York Knights as part of Saturday’s triple-header – a new opposition for both sides to experience.

Warrington Wolves and Leigh Leopards will also face off on Saturday – a fierce encounter between two local sides that has provided plenty of entertainment in recent years.

The Easter weekend is also set to be special when the two French sides lock horns in 2026 Rivals Round. Catalans Dragons will welcome Toulouse Olympique to the Stade Gilbert Brutus, which is set to be an enticing spectacle for all involved in the south of France.

Last but not least, fans are in for a treat as Rivals Round concludes with Castleford Tigers hosting Wakefield Trinity on Easter Sunday.

The Tigers will be keen to re-enact the events the last time they faced their nearest and dearest at the OneBore Stadium, with Trinity hoping they can restore bragging rights. There’s never any love lost between these two West Yorkshire neighbours!

Which teams do you think will take the spoils? It means more in Rivals Round.

All seven matches will be shown live on Sky Sports.
