Under-18s Grand Final squad named to take on Wolves

Chev Walker has named a strong 21-man squad ahead of Saturday's Under-18s Grand Final clash against Warrington Wolves at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, kick off 1pm.

After edging past St Helens in the semi finals to secure their place in this year's finale, Walker has been fortunate to include 16 out of 17 players who faced Saints in his squad for Saturday. Prop Daniel Stelfox is the only player who misses out on the final squad through injury, whilst Jacob Stead has completed his return to play protocol, after leaving the field in the first half of the semi final, and is eligible to play at the weekend.

Tenof the Rhinos 21 man squad also featured a week ago to help the Reserves lift their 2025 trophy in a 8-0 win over Warrington Wolves. Academy Player of the Year and Reserves Grand Final Player of the Match George Brown is set to partner Harry Smith for the 13th time in this Academy season after the duo led the Rhinos to the Reserves crown, plus Presley Cassell has been named after featuring across the Super League, Reserves and Academy competitions in 2025. Joe Butterfield, Elliott Fox, Jacob Hardy, Dacx Jones-Buchanan, Zak Lloyd, Harley Thomas and Noah Whittingham also look to add the Under-18s final to their Reserves title in 2025.

This year's top try scorer for the Under-18s Oscar Brown can add to his tally of 15 tries as the centre has enjoyed a stellar season in the outside backs - led by a five-try performance against Bradford in May. Outside back Marcus Qareqare and full back Wade White have enjoyed high scoring seasons too, as White has been one of a handful of first-year Academy players to make the step up from the Scholarship last year.

The Rhinos head to Warrington looking to avenge a 19-18 defeat earlier in the season, which confirmed the Wolves as League Leaders and hosts for this year's Grand Final. A Leeds win would bring the Under-18s trophy back to Leeds for the first time since 2022, whilst Warrington can end a longer wait to secure an Academy title.
