Utah Saints to headline pre match entertainment

Play Off rugby returns to AMT Headingley after an eight-year hiatus as Leeds Rhinos host St Helens for a place in this year's Betfred Super League semi-final on Saturday evening, kick off 8pm.

We’re excited to announce legendary Yorkshire duo, Utah Saints will be headlining our entertainment with a pre-match DJ set.

With three top-ten hits and numerous dance anthems under their belt, Utah Saints are set to bring the energy and excitement, mixing classic samples with their signature sound in the build up to kick off. Catch their set from 7.15pm!

In a change from the usual schedule, stadium gates will open two hours ahead of kick-off at 6pm and here’s what you can look forward to –

Public bars in the stadium will open at 6pm plus, there are lots of food options to enjoy such as burgers, pizza and fish & chips. All bars and food concessions inside the stadium only accept card payments.

Join the fun on matchday as our talented face painters and balloon modellers will be ready and stationed in the South Stand concourse as well as the Courtyard opposite the Club Shop. You can also find Ronnie the Rhino for photos before he heads on pitch for his famous Ronnie dive. keep your eyes peeled for our roaming magician, ready to amaze you with his dazzling tricks.

Finally, we will stage a mobile light show ahead of kick off, enabling fans to play their part in adding to the electric atmosphere ahead of player entry. So, help us light up AMT Headingley in a unique way! To get involved all you need to do is follow the 9 simple steps below -

STEP 4 – CLICK ENABLE MICROPHONE

STEP 5 – CLICK ALLOW

Enabling your microphone just let’s your phone sync to the music which powers the light show.

STEP 6 – CLICK ENABLE CAMERA

STEP 7 – CLICK ALLOW

Allowing access to your camera enables participation in the show as well as allows you to take photos simultaneously.

STEP 8 – CLICK ALLOW ACCESS TO PHOTO LIBRARY

Don’t worry, allowing access to your photo library does not mean the app accesses your images and data. It just enables you to save any images and videos you take of the light show to your camera roll.

STEP 9 – WAITING TO SYNC

Once you reach the ‘waiting to sync’ screen you’re all set to take part in the light show.

On the day, open your phone and the StadiumFX app when prompted by the stadium announcer pregame and enjoy the show.

This event will feature flashing and strobe lighting as well as pyrotechnic effects. These may cause discomfort for individuals with light-sensitive conditions.
