Simpson returns for Rhinos

Leeds Rhinos Head Coach Brad Arthur has made two changes to his 21 man squad for this Saturday's trip to Hull FC, kick off 3pm. 

21-year-old centre Max Simpson is set to make his first appearance since July 2022 when he suffered a fractured ankle at Toulouse. After a number of injury set backs, he returned to action recently in the Reserves win at Castleford and now has been drafted in to the 21 man squad with co-captain Ash Handley ruled out with a groin injury. 

Front rowers Mikolaj Oledzki (cheek fracture) and Cooper Jenkins (ankle) are also in contention to return to action. 

As well as Handley, the Rhinos are still without Alfie Edgell (foot), Tom Nicholson-Watton (foot), Tom Holroyd (scaphoid), Ethan Clark-Wood (shoulder), Cameron Smith (back) and Maika Sivo (knee).

Ryan is set to make his 400th Super League, 302 of which have come with Leeds alongside a further 97 for Hull KR between 2021 and 2024. Harry Newman will make his 150th career appearance having amde 124 appearances for Leeds since 2017, 18 appearances for Featherstone on dual registration, six for England and one game for England Knights.
