Next Up: Huddersfield Giants

Next up, the Rhinos continue their run of away games as Brad Arthur's side travel to ACCU Stadium to take on Huddersfield Giants in round 25 of the Betfred Super League on Thursday night, kick off 8pm.

Here's your match preview for the fixture:

Opposition Overview

A turbulent season for Luke Robinson and Huddersfield Giants has taken a turn since June as the club have added five wins in their last nine outings to take their tally for the season to six.

Besides a round ten victory over Hull FC at Magic Weekend, it's been another season to forget for those in claret and gold who had a run of ten consecutive defeats in all competitions after opening the year with a Challenge Cup victory against Hunslet. Even after their win over the Airlie Birds in Newcastle, the side suffered four more losses to play off hopefuls Hull KR, St Helens, Leigh and Wigan before picking up a second win against Warrington on the road. The result proved to be a spark in the Giants' season as they have since gone on to win five of the last ten outings against Castleford, Hull FC, Catalans and Warrington again to move clear of the Tigers and Salford Red Devils at the bottom of the table.

Wakefield blew Huddersfield away last time out, but Robinson's side can respond in front of a home crowd as games againast Leeds and Salford are both played at ACCU Stadium. A trip to Leigh rounds off the season, when plans then start for 2026.

Out of the top performers for the club this season, George Flanagan Jr has led by a stretch with ten tries and 40 goals to his name. The Bradford Bulls Academy product was part of a big-money move to the club last year and looks to be one of the next stars of the competition as he's become a mainstay under Robinson. Jacob Gagai has also been at the forefront of the club's try scoring front with ten tries in his first season at the club, whilst veteran Leroy Cudjoe continues to lead by example, particularly as the leading tackler in the squad this campaign.
