Rhinos Diary: What's on this week

This week at the Rhinos, some crucial matches across the Men's and Women's Super League competitions, as well as the Under-18s Academy, could prove important for Leeds as teams continue to fight for league position.

Brad Arthur's side can stay in the race for a home play-off as they host league leaders Hull KR on Thursday as part of the double header with the Academy, who can secure a home semi final themselves. The Women's Academy are back in action on Wednesday as they look to finish the season in good form, whilst Lois Forsell's Women's first team head to Leigh as the Women's Super League enters a crucial period.

Featherstone Rovers Women Under-19s vs Leeds Rhinos Women Under-19s

The week kicks off at the Millennium Stadium as Leeds Rhinos Women's Under-19s are back in action against Featherstone Rovers, kick off 7pm.

After serving their second and final bye week of the season, the Rhinos look to put in a similar display to the one that saw them come away from Stanningley with a 66-0 triumph over Featherstone in June. Since then, they beat St Helens and Wigan either side of a home loss to the Giants. Featherstone lost their last outing against York Valkyrie in a 34-6 defeat, and are looking for their first win since the first game of the season against Warrington.

Entry at Featherstone is £3, U16s in for free.

Thursday 21st August

Leeds Rhinos vs Hull KR

Round three of the Rhinos vs Robins in 2025 returns to AMT Headingley as Brad Arthur's side look to add to their win at Sewell Group Craven Park when Hull KR arrive in round 22 of the Betfred Super League on Thursday night.

Leeds are keeping the pressure on St Helens and Leigh Leopards in the league standings after victory over Castleford last time out. The win keeps Brad Arthur's side firmly in the race for a potential home semi final, but they face a stern challenge in the league leading Robins who aim to avenge their loss to the Rhinos back in round 17.

Tickets for the game are available to buy now, starting at £25 for adults, £20 for concessions and £13 for juniors, and are available online at tickets.therhinos.co.uk or call the ticket office on 0371 423 1315. All tickets also include the Academy match beforehand vs Hull KR too, kick off 5.30pm.

Leeds Rhinos Under-18s Academy vs Hull KR Under-18s Academy

Having sealed their place in the Academy semi-finals, Leeds Rhinos Under-18s can confirm a home semi-final with a win against Hull KR Under-18s on Thursday night at AMT Headingley, kick off 5.30pm.

A convincing second-half performance against Leigh saw the Rhinos bounce back from defeat to Warrington to keep themselves in the top two. They would need a slip-up from the Wolves in the next fortnight to jump back up to the top spot, but Chev Walker's side still look to take a good run of form into the play-offs with a result against the Robins. Hull KR also have eyes on the top four as wins against the Rhinos and St Helens in their final two games would put them in with a chance of sneaking into the semis. Rhys Lovegrove's side is one league point away from Saints in fourth place, but have firm competition to try and keep their season alive.

Tickets are not available for the Academy game only, fans wanting to watch must have a valid ticket for the Super League match between the Rhinos and Robins. Buy now at tickets.therhinos.co.uk or call the ticket office on 0371 423 1315.

Sunday 24th August

Leigh Leopards Ladies vs Leeds Rhinos Women

Leeds Rhinos Women's run of away games continues as Lois Forsell's side head to Leigh Sports Village to take on Leigh Leopards, kick off 1pm.

The Rhinos defeated Leigh in a convincing 48-12 outing at AMT Headingley and as they head over the Pennines to take on the Leopards on the road for the first time in the Betfred Women's Super League, a result would bolster the Rhinos' chance of a top four finish with three games to go. Leigh are not out of the race for fourth but with only two wins this season, they would need to win their remaining games and hope Leeds lose theirs in order to jump passed fellow chasers Huddersfield and Barrow.

Tickets for the game are available to buy online now, priced at £10 for adults, £6 for over-65s and 12-17 years, and Free for Under-12s.
