Next Up: Castleford Tigers

Next up, the Rhinos look ahead to a second trip to The Jungle on Saturday 16th August as Brad Arthur's side takes on Castleford Tigers, kick off 3pm.
Here's your match preview for the fixture:
Opposition Overview
Director of Rugby Chris Chester's temporary tenure in charge of the Tigers, in the wake of Danny McGuire's departure, sees Castleford enter round 22 clear of Salford at the bottom of the league table but still out of form.
The former Hull KR and Wakefield coach has won once in the three games he's coached Castleford since round 18, losing out to St Helens and Salford between picking up a 20-14 win over Warrington at the end of July. The result is only the fifth win for the Fords in 2025 and came after a run of four straight defeats following a 22-14 win over Hull FC. Fellow strugglers Salford and Huddersfield have had league points taken off them by the Tigers too, but the club have failed to rise higher than tenth in the table since the start of March.
Wingers Innes Senior and Josh Simm have been amongst the highlight performers so far this campaign as they side's top try scorers, as well as Rowan Milnes, who has since departed on loan to Hull KR for two weeks. On the signings front, a bolstered forward pack now has Brad Singleton, Tom Amone and Joe Stimson compared to the start of the season, whilst Chris Atkin will be the favoured option alongside Daejarn Asi in the absence of Milnes.
The fixture list doesn't get easier for the Tigers as they take on Hull KR and Leeds in their next two games, before travelling to Catalans Dragons in round 23. Wakefield Trinity are the only team to travel to the Jungle in round 25 before the side takes to the road again to face off against Wigan and St Helens in their penultimate games of the season.
