Next Up: Salford Red Devils

Next up, consecutive home outings sees the Rhinos walk out at AMT Headingley again next Friday as they welcome Salford Red Devils in round 19 of the Betfred Super League.
Here's your match preview for the fixture:
Opposition Overview
Surrounded by the noise of off-field financial struggles and a weekly turnover of players, Salford Red Devils arrive at AMT Headingley in Round 19 hoping to overturn their two previous defeats to the Rhinos earlier this season.
Leeds claimed a 32-6 win at the Salford Stadium in Round 2 and followed it up with a 28-0 victory five rounds later - James McDonnell leading the charge in the latter with four tries, securing both league points for the Rhinos. That result forms part of a longer 14-game losing streak that has left Paul Rowley’s side anchored to the bottom of the table, four points behind Huddersfield. Over the past four months, Catalans, Leigh, Hull KR, Castleford, Wakefield, Wigan, St Helens, Hull FC, and Warrington have all recorded wins over Salford, with four of those matches, including their Magic Weekend clash with Hull KR, ending in shutouts.
Squad movement has also been a major storyline, with Marc Sneyd, Kallum Watkins, Deon Cross, Brad Singleton, and Chris Atkin all departing mid-season for new clubs. Meanwhile, loan moves have seen Nene Macdonald and Joe Bullock leave temporarily. Since announcing their 29-man squad in January, 25 new players have joined over the course of the season. Despite the churn, a few stalwarts have remained regular fixtures, Esan Marsters has led impressively in his debut season, and Ryan Brierley has also remained loyal. Macdonald and Jayden Nikorima share the top try-scoring honours with five each, while Chris Hankinson leads in points with 38.
The trip to Leeds kicks off the final eight games of what has been a difficult campaign for Red Devils fans. Fixtures remain against both Hull clubs, Wakefield twice, Warrington, Leigh, and Catalans, but the round 26 clash with Huddersfield could prove crucial, especially if Salford can notch another win beforehand as they can apply pressure on the Giants to avoid a bottom-place finish and the wooden spoon.
