Hull KR Reserves 12 Leeds Rhinos Reserves 28

Leeds Rhinos Reserves completed a double for the Rhinos at the Robins on Sunday afternoon as they ran out 28-12 winners of their Hull KR counterparts.
The Rhinos took the lead after four minutes when Jack Sinfield threaded a low kick through the legs of the Rovers defence and centre Jacob Hardy touched down. Sinfield converted the try to give his side a 6-0 lead.
The advantaged was doubled the advantaged after 12 minutes with a sensational team try that started near the Rhinos try line. In a try that was reminiscent of the first team try nearly an hour earlier on the same pitch, Presley Cassell burst down field before finding George Brown in support to score. Sinfield was on target again with the goal.
The home side hit back with two contrasting scores. The first came from short range when the hooker Bill Leyland barrelled his way over from close range then full back Louix Gorman picked up a loose ball from a dropped pass and raced 90 metres to score for the Robins. Gorman converted both tries to level the game.
Leeds retook the lead with ten minutes to go in the first half when Sinfield took on the line and produced a sublime offload to put Zak Lloyd over for the score. Sinfield converted the try to give Chev Walker’s team a 18-12 lead at the break.
Presley Cassell's second-half try saw the loose forward take a short pass from Andy Ackers to powered his way over his seventh try of the campaign; Sinfield adding the conversion. Elliot Wallis then concluded the scoring with his third try in the Reserves competition, as the winger combined with a pass from Ethan Clark-Wood to touch down and make the final score 28-12.
