Rhinos Diary: What's on this week

This week at the Rhinos, six teams are in action across four consecutive days as the season begins to heat up.

Friday night will be another unforgettable night at AMT Headingley as both the Men's and Women's sides are in action against St Helens in a double header with plenty on the line. The unbeaten Men's Under-18s and Women's Under-19s also look to keep their winning streaks alive against the Saints on Thursday and Saturday, plus the Under-16s Scholarship head into their second-to-last game of the campaign with a trip to the Jungle on Wednesday.

On the other hand, the Betfred Wheelchair Super League season is only just beginning as the Rhinos play their first home game of the campaign at the Edge against Wigan on Saturday.

Take a look below for more information:

Wednesday 9th July

Castleford Tigers Under-16s Scholarship vs Leeds Rhinos Under-16s Scholarship

The penultimate game of the Under-16s season sees Leeds Rhinos make the short trip to visit Castleford Tigers at The Jungle on Wednesday night, kick off 7pm.

The Rhinos came away from AMT Headingley with an 18-all stalemate last time out against Wigan Warriors, and with a tough test against St Helens waiting in the final outing of the year, Mark Butterill's side will be hoping to get a fifth win of the campaign under their belts. The Tigers have won twice in six games this season - those wins coming against Salford and Hull FC - and are looking for their first Scholarship win against Leeds since 2019.

Thursday 10th July

Leeds Rhinos Under-18s Academy vs St Helens Under-18s Academy

The club's Under-18s look to keep their unbeaten record intact on Thursday night as Chev Walker's side face St Helens at AMT Headingley, kick-off 7pm.

The Rhinos are top of the Academy league on points difference alone, as Warrington Wolves also remain unbeaten this campaign. A trip to the Wolves awaits later this month, so a result for Leeds on Thursday against a Saints side - who will be tough taskmasters having won their last four games - would give the young Rhinos momentum heading into a potential first place decider against the Wire.

Entry to AMT Headingley is £5 for Adults and Free for Juniors (Aged 16 and Under). Fans can pay with either cash or card at the turnstiles on Gate E.

Friday 11th July

Leeds Rhinos vs St Helens

AMT Headingley hosts another double header of action on Friday night as the Rhinos Men's and Women's sides are in action against St Helens from 5.30pm.

Brad Arthur's side face Saints for the fourth time this campaign, only 21 days after Paul Wellens' side won the round 15 meeting at the Totally Wicked Stadium. Following last week's win against the Robins, the Rhinos can maintain their two-point gap to the Saints in the league table with a result on Friday night.

Tickets for the game are available to buy now, starting at £25 for adults, £20 for concessions and £13 for juniors, and are available online at tickets.therhinos.co.uk or call the ticket office on 0371 423 1315. All tickets also include the Women's match beforehand vs St Helens, kick off 5.30pm.

Leeds Rhinos Women vs St Helens Women

Make sure to take your seats in the ground early as Leeds Rhinos Women look to keep their run of home wins in the Betfred Women's Super League going against St Helens at AMT Headingley, kick off 5.30pm.

Since the sides drew 20-20 in the opening round of the season, the Rhinos have recovered from losing their first three games to secure wins over Warrington, Barrow and Leigh to move up to fourth in the standings. Following last week's break for the Nines Festival, Leeds can close the gap to Saints with a first victory against the Red Vee since 2023, whilst Derek Hardman's side will be aiming to close the gap to Wigan with two points on Friday.

The Women's game is included in all tickets for the Men's Super League matche against St Helens, but please note that tickets will not be available for just the Women's game only. Buy yours now online at tickets.therhinos.co.uk or call the ticket office on 0371 423 1315.

Saturday 12th July

Leeds Rhinos Women Under-19s vs St Helens Women Under-19s

The Leeds vs St Helens rivalry continues on Saturday as the club's Under-19s face off at West Park Leeds, kick off 12:30pm.

Coming into the fixture off the back of a strong showing in the Nines last Saturday, the Rhinos can take their winning run to six games unbeaten, after seeing Saints back in the opening game of the competition. Since losing out in week one, Saints got their first win of the campaign last time out against Warrington and look to inflict a similar result on Ellis Pascall's Rhinos side on Saturday.

Fans are asked to donate to the Leeds Rhinos Women's Pathway on arrival.

Leeds Rhinos Wheelchair vs Wigan Warriors Wheelchair

The Betfred Wheelchair Super League arrives back in Leeds for the first time in 2025 as the Rhinos go up against Wigan Warriors at The Edge, kick off 2.45pm.

Both clubs, who have won the last two Grand Finals between them, made strong starts to the league campaign with wins over Edinburgh and Sheffield in the opening rounds of the season and can be the early leaders at the top of the table. The Rhinos won this fixture last year 46-36 as part of an unbeaten league season, and James Simpson's side look to make a similar start in 2025.

Fans get plenty of Wheelchair Rugby action for their money as The Edge also hosts a Junior Taster Session, Development game vs Wigan Warriors and a Reserves clash against the Warriors too. Doors open from 11.15am so be sure to get along to support all our Wheelchair sides in action.

Entry for the event is FREE, however, there will be a collection bucket and raffle with all donations going to Leeds Rhinos Foundation. There is seating is limited pitch side so it will be on a first come first served basis. Parking is located on site, however it is a pay and display. A code can be obtained from the front desk on the day which may reduce this cost.
