Connor says focus is firmly on Rhinos role

Leeds Rhinos half back Jake Connor says he is not letting outside noise about the Man of Steel voting or potential call ups to the England squad put him off his stride as the Rhinos face a massive game against Hull KR this Sunday.

England coach Shaun Wane named a training squad this week for the Ashes with Connor not included despite his sensational form for Leeds.

However, Connor is not getting drawn into the speculation and instead says he and his Leeds team mates have an important game to focus on this Sunday against league leaders Hull KR.
