Next Up: Hull KR

Next up for Leeds Rhinos, they head on the road to Sewell Group Craven Park to take on the League Leaders Hull KR on Sunday, kick off 3pm.

Here's your match preview for the fixture:

Opposition Overview

Except for a round seven loss to Wigan Warriors back in April, 2025 has been an almost spotless season for Willie Peters and Hull KR as they look to add to their Challenge Cup triumph earlier this month.

A steady rise since Peters arrived in 2023 has seen the club progress up the table and closer to silverware as they featured in Challenge Cup Finals and Grand Finals, only to come up short against Leigh and Wigan on those occasions. Despite being behind against Warrington in this year's Cup Final, they managed to overcome previous experiences and finally achieved their first piece of major silverware since the 1980s as a late Tom Davies try brought the Cup home to Craven Park. The win is part of a wider ten-game winning run that the side is currently on, after keeping St Helens and Catalans to one try as well as Castleford scoreless last time out.

Mikey Lewis has been the side's leading creator and scorer this season with the second most tries in Super League behind Jai Field, and the third most try assists. His half back partner Tyrone May is locked in on a new contract too as a key piece of the Robin's engine room, whilst winger Davies and full back Jack Broadbent have found a run of scoring form; Broadbent has scored three tries in his last two outings. Skipper Elliot Minchella has been leading the defensive front as he has the third most tackles behind Leeds' Jarrod O'Connor and Catalans' Oli Partington in 2025.

Back-to-back home games saw the Robins clash with Wakefield on Friday night and now they look ahead to taking on the Rhinos for the second time in 2025. Compared to their comeback win against Leeds at AMT Headingley, a win would retain Hull KR's breathing space at the top of the table ahead of trips to Leigh, Catalans and Salford during July.
