AMT Headingley to become 'funhouse' for unique post match party!

For the first time ever, Leeds Rhinos are hosting a special post match party - on the pitch!  Rhinos fans will be invited down on the famous AMT Headingley turf to enjoy a unique party hosted by DJ and TV presenter Pat Sharp, who will be playing party anthems to entertain the crowd!

Sharp, who presents on 80s Heart Radio and is fondly remembered for hosting the iconic ITV show FunHouse in the 80s and 90s and of course his legendary mullet, returns to AMT Headingley for his second DJ set.  Fans will be able to enjoy drinks and dance on the pitch to some classic tunes for the first time ever in this unique event. 

The Party on the Pitch will begin after the Rhinos have taken on Warrington Wolves in round 14 of the Betfred Super League, which kicks off at 5.30pm. 

Heading to the game? Here’s everything you need to know:

• Stadium gates open at 2.30pm with the Leeds Rhinos Reserves in action first against Warrington Wolves Reserves, kick off 3pm. 
  
  
• Happy Hour is on from 2:30pm–3:30pm, with half-price draught pints at all public bars inside the stadium. Food stalls will be serving up fan favourites including burgers, pizza, and fish & chips. All stadium bars and concessions are card only.
  
  
• Pre Match - head to the South Stand and Courtyard for face painting, balloon modelling and glitter art. Don’t miss Dazzling Darren, the club's resident magician, dazzling supporters with his tricks throughout the afternoon. There will also be live music on the South Stand concourse before the game kicks off.
  
  
• Ronnie the Rhino will be on hand outside the Club Shop for pre-match photos before his iconic dive on pitch!

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM 'PARTY ON THE PITCH'

• After the final whistle DJ Pat Sharp will take to the decks for a 45-minute set, packed with all the big anthems creating AMT Headingley into a 'funhouse'! The event will be entertainment for fans of all ages, so make sure to bring the energy from the terraces to the turf.
  
  
• There will be a 20-minute pitch setup period, so stick around in the terraces to meet your favourite Rhinos players for photos and autographs in the meantime.
  
  
• The concourse bars will stay open after the match for fans to enjoy post-game drinks.
  
  
• 20 minutes after full-time, attendees will be invited onto the pitch for an exclusive, first-of-its-kind party right on the pitch!

Please remember to use the designated entry points to access the pitch and avoid jumping over the LED boards for your safety

·       Attendees are welcome to bring drinks purchased from the concessions onto the pitch to enjoy during Pat Sharp’s set

·       Once the 45-minute set concludes, attendees will be kindly encouraged to leave the pitch

Leeds Rhinos Gold Members can also head up to the Long Bar by showing their Gold Season Membership cards, but passes can also be purchased for £5 from Leeds Rhinos Ticket Office Transfer Windows inside the ground next to the Club Shop.
