Syd Hynes memorial event

This Saturday, 26th April, members of the public are invited to join Syd Hyne's family for a short service at AMT Headingley as some of Syd's ashes will be scattered in the memorial garden at the stadium, situated next to Car Park A off St Michael's Lane. 

Syd's niece has travelled from Australia with his ashes. Leeds Rhinos Directors Jamie Jones-Buchanan and Gary Hetherington will be present for the 20 minute service as Syd comes to his final resting place from 12 noon. 

Syd passed away last December in Perth, Australia. Members of his family will be at the Rhinos game against Hull KR on Friday night at AMT Headingley. There was a special memorial service held at the stadium last December when many of Syd's former team mates and opponents shared their memories of his incredible life.
