NEXT UP | Round Nine vs Hull KR

Back-to-back home games around the Easter period sees Leeds Rhinos come off the back of a victory in round eight as they take on the league leaders Hull KR at AMT Headingley next Friday night, kick off 8pm.
The Rhinos can close the gap on last year's Grand Finalists with a victory, but having lost their last two meetings against Willie Peters' side at AMT Headingley, it is set to be a stern challenge in the sole Friday night clash.
Ahead of the Rhinos' clash with the Robins, here's your match preview:
Opposition Overview
Coming into the 2025 season after a debut Grand Final appearance, Hull KR have matched their standards from last year and sit at the top of the Betfred Super League table as one of the most dangerous sides in the competition.
New additions Tom Davies, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, Michael McIlorum and Rhyse Martin have all quickly fitted into Willie Peters' system alongside the heroes of last season in Mikey Lewis, Joe Burgess and Elliot Minchella. Davies left behind the sunshine of Perpignan for the east coast of Hull but is proving to be a fruitful capture as one of four Hull KR players in Super League's top 20 try scorers this year. Only Catalans' Oli Partington has made more tackles than Elliot Minchella too as the club captain leads the charge from the front.
A slow start to the season saw the club come away from round one with a golden point drop goal win over Castleford Tigers, before they were pushed close by Wakefield on the road in a 14-12 victory for the Robins. Since then, it's been clear sailing as they progressed up the table with a 42-point triumph against Salford as well as wins over St Helens, Leigh and Huddersfield, plus they sealed their place back in the Challenge Cup semi finals for a fourth straight season with a derby win over Hull FC at the start of the month.
Coming into last Friday's all-Hull clash off the back of their first defeat in all competitions against Wigan in round seven, it was the biggest in years as both clubs continue to battle it out at the top of the table. Now raring to take down a Leeds side who have won their last two games, the Robins can close the month out and go into Magic Weekend as the sole leaders of the competition with a victory.
