What's On Guide: Huddersfield Giants

What better way to celebrate the start of the bank holiday weekend than joining us for an action-packed day of fun at AMT Headingley Stadium this Friday 18th April as we host our annual Family Day themed game!

Here’s everything you need to know before coming down to the stadium:
- Stadium gates open at 2.30pm and there’s nonstop entertainment from the start. Head to the South Stand for face painting and balloon modelling or strike a pose on the Emperor's throne before meeting the Storm Troopers and grabbing a selfie with Darth Vader.

- Happy Hour means half price draught pints between 2.30pm and 3.30pm at all public bars in the stadium. Plus, there are lots of food options to enjoy such as burgers, pizza and fish & chips. All bars and food concessions inside the stadium only accept card payments.

- Make sure to also visit our digital caricaturist in the South Stand to be turned into a cartoon masterpiece.

- For the brave supporters seeking an unforgettable encounter, they will be able to get up close and personal with snakes and creepy crawlies, as expert guides from Captivating Creatures offer a hands-on experience.

- Make your way to the Enchanted courtyard and snap a royal selfie in Cinderella’s pumpkin carriage before meeting Anna and Elsa for a frosty photo and maybe even a warm hug or two from your favourite sisters.

- Animal lovers can also take a look at some awe-inspiring birds of prey and engage with their handlers, who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and teaching people about these extraordinary birds.

- Watch giant bubbles float and surround you in a shimmering bubble dome with our very own Bubble Artist and meet our magicians who will dazzle you with their tricks.

- Ronnie the Rhino will be ready for photos outside the Club Shop, before he takes to the pitch for his famous Ronnie dive.

- Leeds Rhinos Academy are first to challenge Huddersfield Giants, kicking off at 3pm.

- After the first game we want you to join us for a Fancy Dress Parade. Whether you're rocking a Princess gown or channelling your inner Jedi, we want to see you there. So, dust off your Lightsaber’s, polish your tiaras and head to the John Holmes statue located in the South Stand car park for a 4.45pm start.

- Get ready to cheer as our 6–8-year-olds as they take to the pitch to race for the title of fasted kid around before the Leeds Rhinos men take on Huddersfield Giants at 5.30pm.

- During halftime, our ambassador clubs will take over the pitch, followed by a performance from the Rhinestones dance team. Just before we resume play, we'll watch seven babies race across the pitch for the chance to be crowned the fastest baby in town.

- Post game the Long Bar will be open for Leeds Rhinos Gold Members and pass holders, who will be joined by some of the Rhinos squad for photograph and autograph opportunities. There will be live music and the bar will be open for drinks.
Family Day is a highlight fixture in everyone’s calendar, so mark yours and come witness the magic with us.
