Rhinos Diary: What's on this week

Although the men's team have no fixture this week, six teams are still in action for the Rhinos from Wednesday to Saturday.
The Scholarship and Academy sides look to build on their positive starts to the year, whilst the Rhinos Women's team open their 2025 campaign in the Betfred Women's Challenge Cup. The Rhinos Wheelchair side also continue their preparations for the start of the Betfred Wheelchair season as they play a 4s Festival in Manchester, plus Friday night is Netball night in Sheffield as NIC Leeds Rhinos Netball welcome London Pulse in the Super League and NXT Gen competitions.

Wednesday 2nd April
Bradford Bulls Under-16s Scholarship vs Leeds Rhinos Under-16s Scholarship
Mark Butterill's Under-16s Scholars look to build on their opening win as they take on local rivals Bradford Bulls at Bartercard Odsal on Wednesday, kick off 7pm.
A 42-22 win saw the Rhinos defeat Hull FC in a straightforward performance at Stanningley, whilst the Bulls come into the game off the back of a 34-16 defeat to Hull KR last time out. The sides will be hoping for a closer contest than last year's meeting, when the Rhinos ran out 68-6 victors thanks to three tries from Zak Lloyd.
Friday 4th April
Castleford Tigers Under-18s Academy vs Leeds Rhinos Under-18s Academy
It's a short trip for Leeds Rhinos Under-18s on Friday night as Chev Walker's side take on Castleford Tigers Under-18s at The Jungle, kick off 7pm.
Both sides got their seasons off to flying start as Leeds defeated Wigan in a one-sided performance at Stanningley, thanks to tries from Presley Cassell, Zak Lloyd, Jacob Hardy and George Brown, whilst Castleford posted 56 points on Bradford Bulls on home turf.
NIC Leeds Rhinos Netball vs London Pulse
Back to back home games in the Netball Super League sees NIC Leeds Rhinos Netball head to Sheffield's Canon Medical Arena to take on London Pulse, FCP 7pm.
Coming off the back of last weekend's outing at the first direct Arena, Lauren Palmer's side look to get back to winning ways as they take on a Pulse side who have made a statement to start the year with three wins in three games. Last time out, Pulse defeated London Mavericks 78-42 to keep their winning start to the season going after posting wins over Nottingham Forest and Loughborough Lightning.

NIC Leeds Rhinos Netball Under-23s vs London Pulse Under-23s
Francine Hall's Rhinos Netball Under-23s side look to keep their run of good form going as they host London Pulse at Canon Medical Arena, FCP 4.30pm.
The Rhinos head into this week's fixture on the back of three consecutive wins in the NXT Gen competition, but they face stern competition from Pulse, who are top of the league table after seven rounds with five wins in 2025.
The NXT Gen game is included in the match tickets for the first team's clash with London Pulse, so make sure to take your seats early and cheer on the Under-23s too!
Saturday 5th April
Leeds Rhinos Women vs Leigh Leopards Ladies
Challenge Cup weekend sees Leeds Rhinos Women get their Betfred Women's Challenge Cup campaign underway on Saturday as they host Leigh Leopards at AMT Headingley in their first group game, kick off 1pm.
The two-time Cup winners begin the road to Wembley against the Leopards, who they have met three times in the competition's history, before travelling to face Sheffield next week as they look to book their place in the knockout rounds.

Leeds Rhinos Wheelchair
Saturday also sees Leeds Rhinos Wheelchair get the chance to take to the field as they head to Manchester's National Basketball Performance Centre for a 4s Festival.
With the action starting from 10am, both Leeds' Super League team and development side will be in action in friendly matches as part of the 12-team festival. All eight Super League sides will be in action, including the competition's newest additions Sheffield Eagles and Edinburgh Giants, plus Bradford and York's Development teams will go up against the Rhinos Development squad too.
Entry to the venue is free for all spectators.
