Lindsey Burrow launches new book - Take Care

Lindsey Burrow, the wife of legendary Leeds Rhinos player Rob Burrow CBE, has launched a new book aiming to shine the spotlight on the army of carers in the UK who support their loved ones at home and rarely get the support they require. 

Lindsey appeared on BBC Breakfast to talk about her reasons for writing the book, which she started last February before Rob passed away in June.

Lindsey will be at AMT Headingley this Sunday for our home game against Castleford Tigers, signing copies of Take Care.  

Everyone must have a match ticket to be able to meet Lindsey between 12 noon and 2.30pm in the AMT East Stand Cafe Bar. 

The book can be purchased from the AMT Cafe Bar before entering the queue. You can pay with either cash or card and the book is £22. The book will not be available from either the Club Shop or South Stand retail unit, they can only be purchased in the AMT Café Bar between 12pm and 2.30pm. A portion of the proceeds from the book will go to the Rob Burrow MND Centre Appeal.

We may close the queue for signing at 2pm if necessary to ensure we are able to complete all signings before 2.30pm. The AMT Cafe Bar is fully accessible and is situated on the ground floor of The AMT East Stand. Toilets (including accessible) are available.

The AMT Cafe Bar will be open for people to purchase drinks and food. This is contactless payment only. There is a small, seated area for people to enjoy their drinks before the game.

This event will take place on a Leeds Rhinos matchday (Leeds Rhinos v Castleford Tigers kick off 3pm) which means access to signing will only be permitted for people with a valid membership or match ticket for the game. Tickets can be purchased for the match at tickets.therhinos.co.uk

The turnstiles for match day access will open at 12pm and access for people to the book signing will open at the same time.
