O'Connor set to return for Rhinos

Leeds Rhinos Head Coach Brad Arthur has named his squad to travel to Salford Red Devils in Round 2 of the Betfred Super League with hooker Jarrod O'Connor included after recovering from a knee injury suffered in the Wetherby Whaler Festive Challenge win over Wakefield on Boxing Day. 

Leeds are without Lachlan Miller (calf), Maika Sivo (knee), Jack Sinfield (foot), Ben Littlewood (hamstring), Ned McCormack (hamstring) and Max Simpson (hamstring) whilst Mikolaj Oledzki will miss this game as he follows the return to play protocol following concussion in last Saturday's Round One defeat to Wakefield. 

New signing Ethan Clark-Wood is included once again along with youngster Jack Smith, either player will be awarded a squad number if selected for the matchday 18 man squad. 

Leeds are looking to end a four game losing run at Salford with the Rhinos last win at Salford coming in June 2021. Both teams were reduced to 12 men that day after just 16 minutes when Lee Mossop and Bodene Thompson were sent off for punching. Leeds scored seven tries to dominate Salford, with two Richie Myler scores in two minutes at the end of the first half putting them in firm control.
