Behind the Rhinos Academy: ECG Heart Screening

In preparation for the upcoming Academy season, Leeds Rhinos' Under-18s Academy and Reserves players underwent Electrocardiograms (or ECG's) to ensure they are in the best possible shape to begin the 2025 season.

Taking an ECG scan between the ages of 14 and 34 helps detect problems with your heart rate or heart rhythm, and although scans aren't compulsory, sports academies offer them so they can act fast in providing support to any players in need and protect their careers in the future.
