Watch the Wetherby Whaler Festive Challenge live

Leeds Rhinos have teamed up with Super League + to offer Rugby League fans around the world the chance to watch our traditional Boxing Day clash against Wakefield Trinity, live from AMT Headingley, kick off 11.30am.

The Wetherby Whaler Festive Challenge will see Brad Arthur’s side take on Daryl Powell's Wakefield Trinity fresh from their promotion winning Championship campaign last season. The Rhinos team will include new signings Maika Sivo, Ryan Hall, Jake Connor, Keenan Palasia and Cooper Jenkins.

For the third year running, the game will be streamed live on Super League + with professional commentary from Lewis Smith who will be joined by Rhinos star Lachlan Miller in the commentary booth.

The game will be available to fans at a cost of £6.99 if booked before midnight on Christmas Day, please be aware the price will rise to £9.99 on the day of the game, so fans are encouraged to purchase in advance of game day. In order to purchase the game, you need to be logged into your Our League account on the superleagueplus.co.uk website. You cannot purchase within the app. The full game replay will be available to anyone who has pre-ordered the game and fans who do not purchase before the game can also pay to watch the full match again after the final hooter for £6.49.

RL Commercial has recently launched a brand-new Single Sign-On solution – Rugby League One – which will now simplify the way supporters log in, set preferences, and interact digitally with the sport. Rugby League One is the new log-in service for SuperLeague+.

New fans can register their Rugby League One Account HERE, but existing OurLeague and SSO Members can make interacting with Rugby League easier by completing the following steps to activate your new account:

Navigate to SuperLeague+ on your chosen device and click “Forgot your password” on the login page.
Enter your email and click the Email Password Reset Link.
You will receive a unique password reset link via email that will be valid for 60 minutes. Click this link and set your new password on Rugby League One.
Proceed to log into SuperLeague+ with your new password credentials.

Please note that all existing data and preferences from OurLeague will be mapped automatically into your new account, but you are able to change these directly in Rugby League One if you wish.

Rugby League live from AMT Headingley on Boxing Day morning was a staple of the Festive period in years gone by when the undersoil heating guarantee a fixture for the television cameras and now the historic fixture will be streamed live. Whilst it is an 11.30am kick off in the UK, it is also convenient for fans around the world too. A sample of kick off times below are:

To purchase the stream:

1. Ensure you are logged into your Our League account, or create one if you don’t already have one.

2. Head to the Live Stream section.

3. Click on the stream you wish to purchase.

4. You should now have been redirected to the payment page.

5. Please follow the payment process steps.

6. Once you receive your order confirmation, you can now watch the match via the Our League app on the ‘videos’ section of the app home page, or via the website.
