Five new stars set to feature in Wetherby Whaler Festive Challenge

Brad Arthur has named his starting line up for the Wetherby Whaler Festive Challenge on Boxing Day, 26th December, at AMT Headingley, kick off 11.30am against Wakefield Trinity. 

Arthur has included his five new signings for the 2025 season with Ryan Hall, Maika Sivo, Keenan Palasia and Jake Connor all starting whilst Cooper Jenkins will make an appearance off the bench. 

England international Harry Newman is amongst the replacements whilst Ash Handley and Cameron Smith will co-captain the side for the first time. 

The 2024 Wetherby Whaler Festive Challenge is now on sale and promises to be a seasonal blast for the entire family. 

Father Christmas will take over game day proceedings with festive fun before returning to the North Pole. The match day will include elves with T-shirt cannons, real reindeer, live performances and music plus snowball fights and mischief from a certain Grinch. 

Members receive a discount of £3 off the general match ticket price. The discount is available to Rhinos 2024 Season Members, 2024 Flexi Members and 2024 Supporter Members and will also be available to new members who purchase a 2025 Season, Flexi or Supporter Membership.  The Member's discount for the members-only period is valid until midnight the day before the game (please be aware this will be online if the Ticket Office Phone Lines are closed) and can be collected on match day or be received as a print at home ticket which can be either printed off or used on mobile phones at the turnstiles on match day  (smartphones only).
