Syd Hynes lifestory in his own words

Back in 2019, Leeds Rugby League Hall of Fame inductee Syd Hynes sat down to reflect on his career with Leeds as player, captain and coach as well as being part of the last Great Britain side to win an Ashes series in Australia. 

Syd talked about his life growing up in Hunslet and how he came to sign for Leeds thanks to his dad and also gives his side of things from the infamous sending off in the 1971 Challenge Cup Final against Leigh. Following Syd's sad passing today we look back on his incredible.
