MATCH ACTION | 745 Cross-Code Match
AMT Headingley hosted the first ever 745 Cross-Code contest on Sunday 17th November as legends from both Rugby League and Rugby Union went head to head to raise awareness and much needed funds for Motor Neurone Disease.
The game was an idea that Rhinos legend Rob Burrow and former Leicester and Gloucester Rugby Union player Ed Slater were developing before Burrow passed away in June this year, aged just 41. Burrow and Slater's idea became a reality as the likes of Danny Cipriani, Danny McGuire, Barrie McDermott and Billy Twelvetrees were among the legends that pulled on the boots and featured in the first of this one of a kind game.
The full match is available to watch now with commentary from George Riley, and includes an explanation of the rules as well as exclusive interviews before, during and after the game.
