Rhinos Women hoping to keep up winning record in Super League semi finals

Leeds Rhinos Women head into their sixth consecutive Betfred Women's Super League semi final on Sunday afternoon as the side take on York Valkyrie at AMT Headingley, kick off 5pm.
The club has the best record in the competition at turning semi final appearances into dates at the Grand Final since they arrived in the competition back in 2018. Since beating Castleford in their inaugural year, with the exception of the 2020 season which was cancelled due to Covid, Leeds have rubberstamped their place in the Super League finale in every Grand Final and gone on to lift the trophy twice in 2019 and 2022.
Here's a run down of the Rhinos' form in the final four:
2018 - Leeds Rhinos 24 Castleford Tigers 10
A week after lifting the League Leaders' Shield against York, the Rhinos upset Castleford Tigers on home soil as they made the Grand Final for the first time. Tries from Char Booth, Suze Hill, Rhiannion Marshall, Manina Spurr and Chloe Kerrigan helped the Rhinos to victory on that day.

2019 - St Helens 14 Leeds Rhinos 18
As Leeds lifted the Grand Final trophy for the first time in 2019, Adam Cuthbertson's left it late to defeat St Helens on the road in the semis.
Only a month before, nothing could separate the two sides in a 20-20 draw, but after falling 14-0 behind quickly, the Rhinos crowned a remarkable comeback at the Totally Wicked Stadium with a match winning try, courtesy of mid-season recruit Abby Eatock.
2021 - Leeds Rhinos 22 York Valkyrie 18
The only other time prior to this season that Leeds and York have met in the semi finals of the Betfred Women's Super League was in 2021 as the Rhinos booked their final spot with a 22-18 result.
In a game that swung between both clubs, Courtney Winfield-Hill proved the difference maker as she scored a length of the field effort and set up both of Sophie Nuttall's tries to see Leeds meet St Helens in the Grand Final.
2022 - St Helens 6 Leeds Rhinos 14
On the way to Grand Final glory in 2022, the Rhinos ground out a tight 14-6 result over St Helens at AMT Headingley.
Sophie Robinson's two tries cancelled out Rachael Woosey's effort in the first half, before Zoe Hornby put the icing on the cake for Leeds with a try on the last play of the game to seal their place in the finale.
2023 - St Helens 16 Leeds Rhinos 20
Saving the best until last, the Rhinos' most recent semi final success produced drama as they faced St Helens on the road.
After falling 16-6 behind in the second half, Leeds produced a remarkable comeback thanks to tries from Caitlin Beevers and Lucy Murray to send the game into golden point for the first time in a Betfred Women's Super League fixture. Having weathered the storm, Sophie Robinson produced the moment of the match as she collected Caitlin Casey's crossfield kick to score the winning try.
