Rhinos mark World title anniversary with traditional look for 2025
Leeds Rhinos will mark 20 years since the club became World Champions for the first time in 2005 with a traditional look for the principal kit for the 2025 season.
The new look blue and amber kit was officially unveiled to the club’s Gold Members event on Tuesday night at AMT Headingley with the clubs’ supporters the first to see the new design.
Popular with supporters was the return of a collar to give the shirt a distinctive retro look with a high band of irregular amber hoops across the chest of the shirt. The kit is completed with white shorts and blue socks.
Back in 2005, over 37,000 fans were at Elland Road to see the Rhinos defeat Sonny Bill Williams’ Canterbury Bulldogs and become World Champions for the first time. Stars from the 2005 win helped launch the new kit with Barrie McDermott, Jamie Jones-Buchanan, Chev Walker and Keith Senior donning the famous blue and amber shirt once again. Jones-Buchanan went one step further to mark the occasion by shaving off his trademark beard to roll back the clock, even putting on his actual shirt from 2005 once again for the official launch video.
Adult shirts are sized XS to 6XL with Ladies shirts available in sizes 8-18 for £51.99. Junior shirts are available for £39.99 in sizes age 6 to 14. All prices have been frozen from 2024. Adult and junior replica shorts are also available. The kit is available to buy now here https://bit.ly/3RRV55V
