Leeds set to celebrate Rhinos family at final home game

Leeds Rhinos will use their final home game of the season against Hull FC on Friday 6th September as the culmination of a week long celebration of the entire One Team Team Rhinos family.

The Inclusivity Round fixture will be a showcase for the many teams who make up the Rhinos and a chance for them to have their time in the spotlight for Rhinos fans to show their appreciation.

One of the highlights of the day will be the presentation of the League Leaders Shield to our Wheelchair team ahead of the start of their play offs. There will also be an opportunity for supporters to try their hand at Wheelchair Rugby League in the cricket nets area near the Rhinos club shop earlier in the night.

The Rhinos senior Physical Disability RL (PDRL) team will get their first ever chance to play on the AMT Headingley pitch before a mens Super League game when they take on their counterparts from Hull FC from 6pm whilst the Leeds Rhinos Foundation’s groundbreaking junior PDRL and LDSL teams will play at half time in the Super League game alongside representative from junior Rugby League teams from across the city.

Through the work of the Leeds Rhinos Foundation’s RL Development plan, the Rhinos will also celebrate the incredible work of coaches and clubs across the region as we welcome the next generation of Rhinos players to sign for the men’s Scholarship and Academy squads.
Off the field, that week the Rhinos will also highlight their journey to Net Zero and the groundbreaking work currently underway at AMT Headingley to lessen the Rhinos impact on the environment.

Rhinos fans will also be at the heart of weeks celebrations. On the Tuesday evening there will be a special Gold Members night for fans to spend the evening with the squad plus hear direct from Head Coach Brad Arthur and Sporting Director Ian Blease. If you are a 2024 Gold Member and are yet to respond to the invite to say your are attending, please ensure you reply before 5pm on Monday 26th August. If you have any questions, please email tickets@therhinos.co.uk

After the game against Hull FC, the Rhinos will pay tribute to those players departing the club, with it being the final home game of the season, which will be followed by the traditional lap of thanks from the squad to sign autographs and pose for selfies with supporters. You can purchase your ticket for the game now at tickets.therhinos.co.uk
