Rhinos Rewind: Catalans Dragons

Ahead of Leeds Rhinos and Catalans Dragons going head to head on Friday night, we've gone into the archives to pull out a clash for the ages between the two clubs, and a player that represented both the Dragons and Rhinos during their careers.

2014 Rewatch
As this round is the Rhinos' Reunion Round, we've dug into the 2004 and 2014 archives to pick out one of the most memorable clashes between Leeds and Catalans ever.
Only one point separated the two clubs in June 2014, as a late Liam Sutcliffe penalty goal stole a win for Leeds. The Dragons looked to have the win tied up at 20-8 in the first half, but a Leeds fightback, thanks to tries from Josh Walters, Joel Moon and Carl Ablett, put the home side back in the fight before Sutcliffe delivered the decisive blow on the final hooter to claim a 32-31 win for the Rhinos.
2014 legend - Paul Aiton
As the club celebrates it's heroes from 2004 and 2014 on Friday too, only one player from the club's 2014 team has also played for Catalans Dragons.
Paul Aiton was an instant hit on his arrival from Wakefield in 2014, and during the season the hooker went on to win at Challenge Cup Final and make 20 appearances. He was also involved in Leeds' Treble winning season a year later, before departing for Catalans where he played for three seasons before retiring.
Here are some of Aiton's best moments in blue and amber:
