New look Leeds Rhinos Supporters' Board revealed!

Following the recent recruitment process, Leeds Rhinos revealed their new-look Leeds Rhinos Supporters' Board, which has both new and returning members.

Founded in May 2012, Leeds Rhinos was one of the first sporting clubs to create and manage its own Supporters' Board. The group's overall aim was to help bridge any gaps between the club and the fans, which would, in turn, help the club focus on improving supporter experiences and building the club for the future.

Since it began, Supporters' Board members have worked alongside Leeds Rhinos Customer Experience Team and other departments within the club to support decision-making processes and being present on match days and at fan events to meet and greet, direct and answer questions. Most of the work they have done has been behind the scenes, advising on membership campaigns, reading content before it is published and bringing ideas to us they may have experienced elsewhere.

This aim still remains the focus; however, at the start of 2024, the club made the decision to grow their Supporters' Board and carried out a recruitment process to bring in new members to work with current members.  With an increased number of members this allows the group to be more present for fans so they know they have someone to talk to if they don't feel comfortable talking to the club directly.

Head of Customer Experience Sian Jones said: “It has been great to welcome new faces to our Supporters' Board and, of course, welcome back our returning members.  Two have been regulars on the board since it was first established back in 2012. We are looking forward to working alongside the Supporters' Board to improve all fan experiences now and in the future.”

The Supporters' Board will meet officially four times a year, however, they will be more present at events and on match day, so there will always be a way to speak to them. They will continue their behind-the-scenes support for the departments within the club.
