Loan Watch: Johnson and Ruan in action for Halifax and Hull

Away from Leeds Rhinos last weekend, youngsters Leon Ruan and Corey Johnson were the only Rhinos players who got game time in away from the club in the Betfred Super League and Betfred Championship.
Find out more about how they got on:
Leon Ruan - Hull FC
In his second game for the black and whites since joining on loan for the rest of the season, forward Leon Ruan made his first starting appearance in Sunday's clash against Leigh Leopards.
It was largely a game to forget for Simon Grix's side, who were in the contest in the first 40 minutes as tries from Harvey Barron and Logan Moy helped level the score at 12-12. The Leopards ran away with the game in the second half though with five tries to seal a 42-12 result.
Ruan started at second row and played 79 minutes. During which he made four carries, 22 metres and 32 tackles. His tackle count in particular was the second highest made by a Hull player behind Jed Cartwright, who made 37 tackles.
Corey Johnson - Halifax Panthers
Sunday's action also saw Corey Johnson feature for Liam Finn's Halifax side, as he started at loose forward against Barrow Raiders.
The Raiders were the latest visitors to The Shay as the Panthers continued their winning streak in the hope of making the Play Offs in September; two tries from centre Ben Tibbs, along with tries from James Saltonstall, James Woodburn-Hall, Joe Keyes, Ben Kavanagh and Charlie Graham helped take a convincing win.
Johnson featured for 50 minutes, had 8 carries and made 23 tackles.
