Ahead of Leeds Rhinos and Huddersfield going head to head on Thursday night, we've gone into the archives to pull out a clash for the ages between the two clubs, and a player that represented both the Giants and Rhinos during their careers.

Classic Clash

The Rhinos had to fight hard for the points at Huddersfield and were grateful to two late tries from Jordan Tansey and Scott Donald to wrap up the points in a 25-12 win.

The sides had been locked on 12-12 for the majority of the second half but some great defence from the visitors was rewarded with a late flurry of points including a drop goal from Kevin Sinfield to secure the two league points.

Played for both - Shaun Lunt

Although he wore Leeds colours for a short period, Shaun Lunt left a huge effect on the Rhinos, particularly during his loan spell from Huddersfield in 2012.

Arriving early in the season, the hooker proved the perfect partner for Rob Burrow as the two shared the role across the campaign. He featured in both the Challenge Cup Final and Grand Final, winning his only ring with the Rhinos against Warrington, that year, before returning for one last spell to help the club finish the 2019 season strong.
