Rhinos Under-18s face Robins at Saturday's Family Day

With four games left to go in their season, Leeds Rhinos Under-18s continue to push towards a potential Play Off spot as they host Hull KR Under-18s in the first match of Saturday's Family Day double header, kick off 12.30pm.

Tony Smith's side come into this week's match with back to back home wins against Huddersfield and Castleford - the latter seeing Dax Millington score a hat trick in a 36-14 result against the Tigers. Having only won two games in the first half of their season, the young Rhinos are hoping that a result this weekend before games against Wakefield, Warrington and Bradford, sees them close the gap on Castleford and Hull FC in the league standings.

As it stands, Leeds are two points behind Castleford and Hull FC who are both on ten points. The black and whites are in the top four on points difference alone but they have a tough run of games to end 2024 which includes an encounter with the Tigers.

Take a look at the highlights from Leeds' recent win over Castleford:

A mixed season so far for Hull KR has the Robins third from bottom with two wins in eight games. Both those wins have come against the two teams below them in Wakefield and Bradford, but having caused an upset last year against the Rhinos, Rhys Lovegrove's side will be out to do the same on Saturday.

Hull KR's most recent game saw them lose out to Academy league leaders St Helens in a 46-0 loss at Sewell Group Craven Park, but they will be hopeful of picking up points in their remaining games against the Rhinos, Bradford, Huddersfield and derby rivals Hull FC.
