Warrington Wolves Women 4 Leeds Rhinos Women 50

Leeds Rhinos Women scored 10 tries in a convincing win on the road against Warrington Wolves to get back to winning ways in the Betfred Women’s Super League.
Caitlin Beevers got her side off to a great start with a try after 5 minutes. Following a powerful drive from Bethan Dainton, Keara Bennett got the ball away to Caitlin Casey and the scrum half offloaded to Beevers and the centre held off two defenders on her way to the tryline. Keara Bennett on early kicking duty was on target with the conversion.
Leeds kept up the momentum with a second try two minutes later, Jenna Greening sending Amy Hardcastle away and Bennett once again adding the extras.
Following a knock on from Warrington, Leeds got the ball away from the scrum and Liv Whitehead and Hanna Butcher combined to spread the ball wide and Evie Cousins was on hand on the wing to collect and go over in the corner.
Sustained pressure on the Warrington line eventually led to a forurth try for the Rhinos, this time England player Shona Hoyle crashing over under the posts.
Before the half hour mark an injury to Elychia Watson forced Lois Forsell to make some changes and gave het the opportunity to bring on young Academy stars Grace Short and Ruby Bruce for her debut.
It took little time for the Dewsbury Moor player to make an impact and the young star found a gap in the Warrington defence to dive over for her debut try. Before the end of the half Leeds looked to create another opportunity but Butcher's kick to the corner just went beyond the reach of Cousins.
Leeds began the second half in a repeat of the first half action with an early try from Beevers. Ella Donnelly made a powerful burst before Casey found the supporting Beevers, who then weaved her way through the Warrington defence to dive over. Liv Whitehead adding the conversion.
Beevers then completed a hat trick after linking up once again with Casey who made a great break before offloading to the centre who sprinted clear. Four minutes later Beevers was in again and once more benefitted from the work from Casey. This time Beevers chasing the kick down from the scrum half to go over next to the posts.
On 65 minutes Jenna Greening showed her strength to take the Rhinos close and then from the next play there was no mistake from Amy Hardcastle who turned out of a tackle and crashed over the line.
The last ten minutes proved to be a scrappy battle and Warrington were able to get their first points on the board when a Leeds error saw the ball come loose and Helena Turner was quick to react and scoop up the ball to race clear for the line, with Leeds caught on the back foot.
Leeds completed the game with a try in the last play of the game when Shona Hoyle sent Hardcastle through for her hattrick try to make it 50 points for the visitors.
