So far in 2024...
Even though plans are in place for 2025, Hull FC look for their first win of the season since round three when the Rhinos visit on Saturday.
After starting the campaign with defeats to Hull KR and Warrington Wolves, Hull managed to halt London's fightback at the MKM Stadium in round three, thanks to a late try from Morgan Smith which secured a 28-24 win. But since then in the league, the black and whites have struggled to find a win. A tough string of fixtures saw Catalans, Hull KR, St Helens and Huddersfield take wins away from Hull - three out of four results seeing Hull's opponents score 50+ points - before a tight 18-12 loss to Leeds extended the losing streak to six games.
Trips to Warrington and the Broncos also ended in defeat for Grix's side and despite sparking a late comeback against the Tigers, a 30-10 deficit after 55 minutes was too tough for the black and whites to come back from at the Jungle as the game ended 30-22. Huddersfield also added a third win in all competitions against Hull last time out to keep the side eleventh in the league standings.

Currently level with London on two points and falling away from the Tigers who are five points ahead of them, Hull are in need of wins fast heading into this week's game against Leeds. They then host Warrington at the MKM as well as derby rivals Hull KR and Wigan Warriors after an away trip to Salford after the Wolves game.
Squad

One to Watch
Tom Briscoe

Tom Briscoe made the decision to leave Leigh Leopards earlier this year and return to help Hull on an 18-month deal to help the club turn their season around. The former Leeds man, who notably scored five tries in one Challenge Cup final as one of number of titles he won with the club, was one of four players brought in to bolster the side, and after starting with a try on his second debut against Warrington, he has played four times this season.
Liam Sutcliffe
Another former Rhino in Liam Sutcliffe could also potentially take on his former club for the second time this season.
The side's joint top try scorer might have had a tough second season with the black and whites but he is one of the side's top performers as he has the most post contact metres out of any member of Hull's back line, and also ranks in the top five metre makers for the side this year. He recorded an impressive interception try and also assisted loanee Tiaki Chan in the defeat to Castleford towards the end of May.

Jordan Lane
An ever-present in Hull's lineup, Jordan Lane has stepped up to captain the side on occasions in 2024.
The back rower is the side's top tackler this year and ranks third in the league behind Leeds' Cam Smith and Hull KR's James Batchelor, plus he is also one of the side's top performers when it comes to carries, metres and post contact metres.
