Rhinos Rewind: Hull FC

Ahead of Leeds Rhinos and Hull FC going head to head on Saturday at the MKM Stadium, we've gone into the archives to pull out a clash for the ages between the two clubs, and a player that represented both the Hull and Rhinos during their careers.
Take a look...
Clash for the ages
Although matches from 2022 are too recent to be called classics, the Rhinos' demolition of Hull FC at the MKM Stadium is a result that Leeds fans will remember for a long time.
Ash Handley led the way with five tries in a spectacular solo performance for Rohan Smith's side, plus Kruise Leeming, Mikolaj Oledzki, Richie Myler, David Fusitu'a and Liam Sutcliffe also added to the 62-16 win.
Played for both - Gareth Ellis
A hero at both Leeds and Hull FC, Gareth Ellis helped the clubs win silverware during his stints in blue and amber and black and white.
Signed from Wakefield, Ellis won World titles and Grand Finals with Leeds between 2005 and 2008, before he moved to the NRL from 2009. He made his Super League return with Hull FC in 2013 and captained the side to back to back Challenge Cup wins in 2016 and 2017, as well as a semi final against the Rhinos in 2017 when he lost out to Danny McGuire and Rob Burrow.
He returned to the club earlier this year in the performance department, after a spell with Rugby League Cares.
