Fans welcome at AMT Headingley over the weekend

Well wishers are encouraged to come down to AMT Headingley Rugby Stadium over the weekend to remember Rob Burrow and lay tributes. The South Stand is open from 7am until midnight on Saturday and Sunday for people to come in, read the messages left by others and leave their own tribute if they wish.
On Saturday car parking is available in Car Park F on St Michaels Lane however please note there is no parking available on Sunday due to a cricket fixture at the stadium. On street parking is available around the stadium but we ask that anyone visiting AMT Headingley is respectful of our neighbours when parking alternatively public transport is available with a regular bus service to Headingley from Leeds city centre and Burley Park and Headingley train stations a short walk away.
Both Challenge Cup Finals from Wembley will be shown on the big screens in the South Stand concourse with the Womens Final kicking off at 11.45am followed by the men at 3.07pm.
The club shop will be open on Saturday from 10am to 4pm for fans who wish to purchase the new MND fundraising shirt, which was launched on Friday. The shop will not be open on Sunday however you can order 24 hours a day by clicking here. The shirt has proved very popular, if current stock sells out, there is an additional supply on order and fans will be able to pre-order next week for delivery later.

Away from AMT Headingley, the Rugby League world will come together at Wembley for the Betfred Challenge Cup Finals. Fans have been invited to leave their tributes to Rob at the Rugby League statue at the stadium. The BBC coverage of the Womens Challenge Cup Final, featuring Leeds Rhinos, and the Mens Final between Warrington and Wigan will pay special tribute to Rob as a Rugby League legend with his former team mates Jamie Peacock and Jamie Jones-Buchanan part of the broadcast team. The mens game will kick off at 3.07pm with a minutes a place in the seventh minute in all four finals taking place the stadium including the 1895 Cup Final which will see Daryl Powell's Wakefield take on Sheffield, where Keith Senior is part of the coaching team.
A decision about what will happen next with the tributes at AMT Headingley will be made on Monday and communicated to fans. The Rhinos will celebrate Rob's life and achievements at their next home game on 21st June against Leigh Leopards. The game is the club's annual MND Awareness match as it falls on global MND Awareness Day but this will be an extra special occasion with dozens of Rob's former team mates and colleagues attending the game in tribute to Rob.
