Match Pack: Women's Challenge Cup Final 2024

It's Betfred Challenge Cup Final day for Leeds Rhinos and St Helens Women as Lois Forsell and Matty Smith's side run out at Wembley Stadium to see who will be lifting the Cup in 2024, kick off 11.45am.

Ahead of kick off live on BBC Two, here's a look at all the information you need to know before kick off.


21-player squads

Leeds Rhinos

In brief

- Shona Hoyle, Bethan Dainton and Ruby Enright all return for the Rhinos after their recent injuries. All three played in last year's Final, including Hoyle who won it as part of the St Helens side.

- Twelve of Lois Forsell's side were involved in last year's Cup Final defeat. Only Hanna Butcher, Caitlin Beevers and Sophie Robinson remain from the side that won back to back Challenge Cups in 2018 and 2019.

- Amy Hardcastle goes for her fourth Cup Final win having won one with Bradford in 2017 and two with St Helens in 2022 and 2023. Grace Field has played for three different teams in the Final (Castleford, Featherstone, York) but is yet to win the Cup.

- Evie Cousins, Bella Sykes, Beth Lockwood, Liv Whitehead, Ella Donnelly and Beth Macmillan are all in contention to play in their first Challenge Cup Final.


St Helens

In brief

- Matty Smith named a largely unchanged side from the one that brought home the Challenge Cup last year against the Rhinos. 14 out of the 17 players that featured last year are available again this year, including try scorers Phoebe Hook and Tara Jones.

- Beri Salihi, Erin and Darcy Stott, Megan Williams and Georgia Sutherland could play their first Cup Final for Saints; Sutherland could play her first Cup Final since winning the 2016 Cup with Thatto Heath.

- Hook has been the side's top try scorer so far in this year's Cup competition with seven. She has 10 in all competition, which is only topped by Leah Burke on 11.

A limited number of Cup Finals’ tickets can still be purchased online at rugby-league.com/tickets with prices starting from £20 Adults & £10 U16s.

From 9.30am on Friday 7 June, all tickets purchased will be for stadium matchday collections only (from North Stand West Ticket Office, open from 9.45am on matchday). Matchday ticket sales will also be available on the day.
