Match Pack: Double header

Fans are treated to two matches of Rugby League at AMT Headingley this afternoon as both Leeds Rhinos Men's and Women's teams are in action from 2.45pm.

It is the last chance for fans to see Lois Forsell's side on the field before they travel down to Wembley for next week's Women's Challenge Cup Final clash against St Helens, whilst the Rhinos Men look to get back to winning ways in the Betfred Super League against Yorkshire rivals castleford.

Ahead of the teams taking to the field, here is your snapshot preview of everything you need to know about today's teams:

21-man squad recap

Men's Game

Rhinos

In brief

- Paul Momirovski is set to return to action for the first time since the away win over Hull FC in April, as the centre has recovered from an ankle injury.

- The Rhinos are also bolstered by the return of Alfie Edgell too, who has played five times this year. He missed last week's loss to Saints through injury.

- Rhyse Martin can extend a 12 game scoring run against the Tigers that has seen the PNG international score 5 tries and 114 goals since 2020.

- After his try last week, Ash Handley is eight points away from hitting 500 points for the Rhinos.

- Loan signing Matty Russell misses the game after failing a HIA on his debut at St Helens last week.

- The Rhinos remain without David Fusitu'a, Tom Holroyd, James Bentley and James Donaldson through injury.

Tigers

In brief

- One change to the Tigers side sees Jacob Miller come back into the side after missing the win over Hull FC.

- Prop Samy Kibula misses out as he was named in the Tigers' Reserves side last night.

- Four Castleford players take on their former club today. Paul McShane, Alex Mellor, Luke Hooley and Corey Hall all played in blue and amber before moving to the TIgers later in their careers.

- Innes Senior is currently the side's top try scorer with 10 in the league and 13 in all competitions. Rowan Milnes has the most points for the side with 50.

Women's Game

Rhinos

- With Wembley approaching head coach Lois Forsell has made changes to her side for their first-ever meeting with Barrow.

- Academy players Angel Bentley and Grace Short have been brought into the squad for the first time. Short, who plays for Oulton Raidettes and Leeds City College, could be set to make her first appearance for the first team and Bentley is looking to feature for the second time after making a try-scoring debut against Huddersfield last season.

- Beth Lockwood, Beth Macmillan, Elychia Watson, Orla McCallion and Tilly Brown are in contention to come into the side. Brown, McCallion and Macmillan could make their first appearances of the league season.

- Caitlin Beevers, Bethan Dainton and Grace Field come out last week's side.

Raiders

Amanda Wilkinson makes one change for the trip to Leeds, Shannon Parker coming in for Michelle Larkin.

- Vanessa Temple looks to continue her run as the side's top try scorer as she has seven already this year. She particular has tries in her last two league outings against Warrington and Featherstone.
