Support the Barnardo’s charity takeover game on 1 June

Our Super League clash against Castleford Tigers on Saturday 1 June will be a game-changing takeover day for a charity helping young people leaving care.
Barnardo’s is the official charity partner of our main shirt sponsor Leeds Building Society, who are donating their usual matchday advertising to the charity for the day. The takeover will raise awareness of Barnardo’s vital work to build brighter tomorrows for care experienced young people.
During the game the Rhinos will wear limited edition Barnardo’s shirts which will be given away in competitions throughout the rest of the season. Our match programme will also feature information about Barnardo’s and the work they’re doing for young people leaving the care system.
It’s all to kickstart efforts by Leeds Building Society to help raise £300,000 for the their new charity partner Barnardo’s by 2027.
Who is Barnardo's?
Barnardo’s has been transforming the lives of vulnerable children and young people for over 150 years. Their work spans a wide range of vital services, from providing support for children in care to assisting young people facing homelessness and mental health challenges.
One in three young people leaving the care system experience homelessness within two years. That’s why Barnardo’s dedication to empowering individuals and creating positive futures aligns perfectly with Leeds Building Society’s purpose of bringing home ownership within reach of more people.
Get involved
As well as roaring on the Rhinos during the game, you can help donate whatever you can to help reach the £300,000 fundraising goal. Barnardo’s representatives will be collecting money around the ground in the lead up to kick–off.
