Rhinos Rewind: St Helens

Ahead of Leeds Rhinos and St Helens going head to head in Friday night's double header, we've gone into the archives to pull out a clash for the ages between the two clubs, and a player that represented both the Saints and Rhinos during their careers.

Take a look...

Classic Clash

The Rhinos produced a performance of guts and determination to defeat St Helens 22-10 on their own patch with a heroic defensive effort throughout and clinical attack.
Off the back of an early penalty goal by Sinfield, Saints' James Roby and Leeds' Danny McGuire got tries for their respected sides in a tight arm wrestle. Ste Tyrer crossed for Saints, but Rob Burrow's fantastic solo effort got the Rhinos back in front, before Ryan Hall and Jordan Tansey sealed the win for Leeds.

Played for both - Konrad Hurrell

Current Saints centre Konrad Hurrell was brought to the UK by the Rhinos in 2019 and Tongan international spent three years as a firm favourite among the fans.

Take a look back at some of Konrad's highlights from his time in blue and amber.
