Next Up: St Helens

Both Leeds Rhinos and St Helens return to action after the break for the Betfred Challenge Cup, as Rohan Smith and Paul Wellens' side meet for the third time in 2024 at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Friday night, kick off 8pm.
Here's a preview ahead of the fixture:
Our opposition
After last week's break in fixtures the Challenge Cup semi finals, St Helens return to their Betfred Super League campaign in a heated battle at the top of the table.
Paul Wellen's side have the same form as Wigan, Catalans and Warrington after eleven rounds as the quartet have won eight games and lost three to accumulate 16 points, with Hull KR, Salford and Leeds chasing hard behind them.
Like recent years, Saints kicked off their campaign in a winning fashion as they recorded wins against new-boys London, Huddersfield and Leigh, but suffered a late 24-20 defeat to Salford as Deon Cross scored in the dying minutes in round four. Back-to-back meetings with Leeds in the league and cup at AMT Headingley though saw the Red Vee get back to winning ways though, before they added a close 12-4 win over Wigan in round six.
Despite their victory over the Grand Final champions, Catalans gave Saints their second loss of the season in round seven, before Hull KR added a third loss in a 40-20 outing at the start of May. They did pick up convincing wins over strugglers Hull FC and Castleford though, as well as a drop goal victory over Huddersfield thanks to the boot of Jonny Lomax.
As the halfway point of the season approaches, a clash against Leeds is the first of back to back home games for Wellens' side as they host Catalans a week later in a rematch of the 2023 semi finals. There is also a return to trip to Salford as they look to avenge that round four defeat, amongst other matches against London and Castleford.
